About Us

We are a family-owned and run vineyard in Westfield, near Hastings, southeast England. Philip and Natalia fulfilled their dream of having their own vineyard after moving to First House Farm in 2017, a beautiful setting of fields, woodlands, Roman iron ore mines, and of course now the vines. The farm is home to a range of animals, including our Camber Castle flock of Southdown sheep and Hebridean rams. We strive to create a sustainable environment that is rich in wildlife, protects the soils, and enhances the quality of our vines.

Philip has worked at Davenport Vineyards since 2007 becoming vineyard manager in 2011. He also gained valuable experience working for Olivier Humbrecht MW at Domaine Zind Humbrecht and Lukas Rudolfsky at Vinné Sklepy Kutná Hora. Philip has a degree in Viticulture & Oenology from Plumpton and is a triple UK pruning champion.
